Course Description

Practical Pastoral Ethics – As a Deacon the world will more often than not expect you to have the “right” answer.  This course will discuss how to look at situations from a pastoral perspective while staying true to Biblical teaching, doctrinal and ethical guidelines. This course will also help prepare you for the Deacon Ordination Exam.

Finding Margin – As a Deacon in God’s Church there will be times when it seems like you are being pulled in multiple directions at the same time.  It’s very easy to get over scheduled and emotionally, physically, and spiritually “run out of gas”. In order to serve God’s people well, we need margin in our own lives. This class will give you practical wisdom and tools to restore reserves to our overloaded lives.
