This course is intended to assist you in affirming your call to ministry as a Deacon and will provide the skills in which to articulate the call.

There are many steps throughout the process where you will be expected to respond to these types of questions and most importantly, why you need a collar to do the ministry God has called you to.  As we embark on the life of Saint Stephen, The Deacon examination, role-play, and review the required text, you will gain confidence in your ability to express God’s calling on your life.

Prerequisites:

• Please read: Ears to Hear, Recognizing and Responding to God’s Call  by: Edward S. Little
• Read BCP pp.855-856 and pp.536-547
• Read Acts 6-8 and 1 Timothy 3: 8-13
