Course Description

This course will offer a rationale for a congregational culture of diaconal service, as well as a practical overview of the creation, implementation, and evaluation of related outreach ministries.  Effective and lasting diaconal ministry must include an understanding of the gifts we have been entrusted with and how they may effectively connect wit those in need.  Likewise, the principles of servant ministry ought to be evident and nurtured within the congregation as a whole.  This is where the godly example of deacons can make a difference inside and outside of our churches.
